The Liturgy

The process. Six steps, one piece, from the first word to the last.

  1. N°01

    The idea

    Tell us the idea, the placement and the size. Bring references, old ink, scars. We start with bare skin and a conversation.

  2. N°02

    The drawing

    We draw it once, by hand, for your skin. You see it before a date is set.

  3. N°03

    The stencil

    The drawing goes onto thermal paper, then onto you, in violet. We move it until it sits right.

  4. N°04

    The line

    Single-use needles. The line decides how a piece ages, so it is never rushed.

  5. N°05

    The shade

    Black goes in layer by layer, slow enough that the skin stays calm.

  6. N°06

    The healing

    Two to four weeks. You leave with a written plan, The Rites, and we check it once it has settled.
